We Use a Management System Based on Five Main Components
At G.H. McCulloch, Inc., we also know the difference between quality control and quality assurance. That’s why we work to understand your goals and equipment fully. Let’s take quality control, for example. Quality control (QC) is actually considered the most basic level of quality. QC is testing and examining a product to ensure that it’s in working order. If it’s identified to have faults, you either fix it —making sure it conforms to the specifications—or eliminate it altogether.
While useful, quality control is generally only down at the “end of the line,” and it doesn’t necessarily ensure a real quality product. Quality assurance, on the other hand, maintains the core value of quality control, but it goes further “up the line” by going beyond simply testing or inspecting services that are perceived to be final products.
